Steps:

1. Using a wrench, unscrew the hex nut and remove the steam wand.
2. Note: Do not lose the hex nut once it is unscrewed.

3. Using a thin tool or item, such as a paper clip, poke around through the holes on both ends of the wand to remove any foreign material.
4. Place the steam wand in a de-calcifying solution as directed by product.
5. Reconnect the steam wand.
