Steps:

1. Locate the bad bulb and remove it from the socket. This is achieved by grabbing the bulb lightly and rotating counter-clockwise.
2. The bulb may be hot. If so, use gloves, or wait for it to cool.

3. Procure a new lightbulb, either from a hardware store, or wherever it is you keep new ones.
4. Install the new lightbulb into the socket, this time rotating clockwise.
5. Be sure the power to the socket is turned off before you preform this step. Failure to do so my cause injury.

6. Turn the power on to the light socket by means of a switch or knob.
7. Congratulations! You have successfully changed a lightbulb! Reward your efforts by getting a cold beverage of your choice.
