Dell Inspiron 8600 RAM Replacement

Description: If the RAM is not working, follow this guide.

Steps:

1. Remove the battery from the bottom left of the laptop as shown.
2. Remove the battery before operating on the computer to avoid electrocution.

3. Remove memory cover on bottom of laptop.
4. To view the removal of the memory cover, follow the Dell Inspiron 9100 Memory Replacement.

5. Pull apart the white plastic tabs on either side of the RAM which will cause it to rise upwards.
6. Gently remove the RAM, only touching the edges of the component.
