Steps:

1. Lift viewfinder to access battery pack.

2. Press the battery release button.
3. While pushing the battery button, slide the battery to the left.

4. Pull the battery pack out of the video camera.

5. Pull the viewfinder eyepiece out and away from the main video camera until the black mark appears.

6. Twist the eyepiece counterclockwise until it stops.

7. Pull the eyepiece completely off away from the rest of the viewfinder.

8. Using the Small Plastic Opening tool, pry the tab on the plastic lens away from the viewfinder.

9. Use a cleaning cloth to wipe away residue from the viewfinder.
