Zoombak Personal GPS Locator Battery Replacement

Description: The Zoombak's battery life weakens over time...

Steps:

1. Zoombak Personal GPS device

2. Backside has four rubber plugs. Remove them and find the Phillips head screws.

3. Use a small tip flat blade screw driver to remove the rubber plugs.

4. Plugs removed

5. Rubber plugs

6. Remove the bottom cover.

7. Old battery. No numbers just 3.7 volt 890mAh. Very difficult to figure out. I found a Sony Erricson J100, J220, W710, W810, Z300, Z710 battery that fits perfectly.

8. The old one was swollen from being on the charger for so long.

9. The case without the battery.

10. New battery installed.

11. And turn it back on, and it blinks green! I let it run down and recharged the battery. I get about 3 days use from it now. Good luck!
