Steps:

1. Slide the notch downward while pulling the back cover off to remove it.

2. Use your fingers to push the battery upward from the bottom.
3. Lift upwards to remove the battery.

4. Unscrew the antenna in a counter-clockwise fashion.
5. Remove the aluminum cover.

6. Unscrew the 3 screws shown.
7. Lift the right part of the Nextel logo
8. Remove the screw underneath.

9. Forcing the cover off could damage the ribbon cable, so be careful when doing so.
10. Gently lift the back cover off.

11. Find the connection between the headphone jack and logic board.
12. Begin separating the two pieces, slowly and carefully.

13. Lift the first logic board off of the rest of the device.

14. Gently lift the second logic board from the rest of the device.
15. DO NOT force the board straight off as it could damage the ribbon cable!

16. Using tweezers, carefully pull off the connector shown.

17. Remove the keypad buttons off the front cover of the phone.
